Cost of Entry

Due to the unforeseen circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, there is a possibility that there might not be an Awards Ceremony this year. Alternative arrangements will be made to announce and award the winners. MIID will update participants and members when more information becomes available.
You are allowed to submit multiple entries for any or all categories, or the same entry for multiple or all categories. The entry fee is chargeable for each entry submitted.
There are three different types of Entry Forms:
All entries must be submitted via the MIID REKA Awards website by Monday, 3rd August 2020, 11.59pm.
Please refer to the table below to see which category best describes your project.
|1) Public & Institutional (Public Spaces, Healthcare, Auditoriums, Terminals, etc.)||A place that is generally open and accessible to people. A social structure in which people cooperate.|
|2) Leisure & Entertainment (Club, Spa, Karaoke, Cinema, Gaming, etc.)||A building containing different facilities for leisure and entertainment activities.|
|3) Food & Beverage (Restaurants & Bars)||Food and beverage are part of the service-oriented hospitality sector.|
|4) Corporate Offices||A corporate office is the main office, also called the headquarters, of a corporation.|
|5) Hospitality||Hospitality is the design of service-oriented projects.|
|6) Retail & Exhibition||Retail: A space you lease for the selling of goods to consumers. Exhibition: A public display of works of art or items of interest.|
|7) Residential (Houses, Apartments & Condominiums)||Providing living accommodations for people to live in.|
|8) Show Units||A "display" version of manufactured home to show the living space and features of homes available.|
|9) Green Interior Award & Adaptive Reuse||Having a green focus that incorporates Earth-friendly practices and products. Adaptive reuse refers to the process of reusing an existing building for a purpose other than which it was originally built or designed for.|
|10) Student’s Work||Work that has been done at a university or college level.|
1) Interior Builders
|Completed works of building an interior space.|
|2) Interior Products||Products that are built or supplied for the purpose of the Interior design industry of Malaysia.|
|3) Research & Development||Contribution in a form of Research and Development from providers for the interior design industry.|
The results are typically announced at the MIID Annual Ball & Awards Night at the end of the year. However due to unforeseen circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic this year, alternative arrangements may need to be made to announce and award the winners. MIID will provide updates on this website when more information becomes available.
The results will be published in the MIID REKA Awards 2020 Booklet which will be distributed and made available for download after the announcement of the winners.
